WindSensei is on Apple TV
The forecast now lives on the biggest screen in the house. The new Apple TV app puts live observed conditions and the full hourly forecast side by side for every spot you follow, so you can check the wind from the couch before you load the car.
Leave it running and ambient mode takes over, slowly cycling through your spots. Every bar of the forecast strip shows the wind speed, gust, and hour at a glance, and the two-week overview strip gives you the shape of the whole fortnight. Your preferred riding window is highlighted, and you can page through the days with the Siri Remote.
When friends are out riding, their live sessions show up right on the TV. Select one to see the details while they are still on the water. Season stats made the trip too, so your year on the water finally gets the big-screen treatment.

Follow a friend
Wind sports are better with company. You can now follow other riders on WindSensei and see when they are on the water. Visit a friend's profile page and hit Follow, on the web or in the iOS app.
Accounts can be private, so following works like you would expect: if someone's account is private, they get a follow request they can approve or deny, from either the web or their phone. You stay in control of who sees your sessions.
Once you follow someone, the Friends Live card on your dashboard shows who is out riding right now. Live sessions also show up on the Apple Watch complication and on Apple TV, so a friend scoring it at your home spot is hard to miss.
WindSensei used to only know about spots someone had already added. Search for your secret local and get nothing back. Not anymore.
Now, when you search for a spot that isn't in WindSensei yet, we build it for you automatically. An AI discovery pipeline finds the launch, pins the coordinates, and works out which wind directions actually work there, validated against real geography rather than guesswork.
You get notified when your spot is ready, usually within minutes. No forms, no waiting on us to add it by hand. Just search, and the forecast follows.
